Community Project Partnerships Make A Better BC
At the heart of every thriving community is a spirit of collaboration, compassion, and commitment to something greater than ourselves. Across British Columbia, Freddy and Linda Marks have embraced this spirit through a series of meaningful partnerships and initiatives that uplift lives, protect the land, and bring people together. From conservation efforts that raise awareness about BC’s wildlife to grassroots campaigns that ensure no neighbor is left behind, their dedication is a powerful reminder that small actions can lead to big change. This page celebrates the projects, people, and purpose behind their community involvement—and the collective impact of working together for a better BC.

Respecting Wildlife Starts with Awareness
Freddy and Linda are proud to support the Cow Moose Sign Project, a heartfelt conservation effort launched by Dan Simmons of Williams Lake in 2014. With the powerful message "Please Respect the Cow Moose," this province-wide initiative has brought much-needed attention to the decline of BC's moose population, particularly the critical role cow moose play in its recovery. This grassroots campaign has inspired communities, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts across British Columbia to think differently, act responsibly, and protect our shared wilderness. We stand with Dan and everyone involved in this meaningful movement to ensure future generations can continue to experience BC's incredible wildlife.

No One Left Behind: The Blue Bucket Bell Campaign
Freddy Marks is the proud founder and leader of the annual Blue Bucket Bell Campaign—a heartfelt initiative supporting the Agassiz and Harrison Social Services. Each year, Freddy and his incredible team of dedicated volunteers hit the streets with one goal: to ensure that no one in our community is left behind. With blue buckets and ringing bells, they raise thousands of dollars in donations directly toward helping local families in need, especially during the holidays. From food assistance to vital social support, this campaign is a lifeline for many and a testament to what compassion and community spirit can achieve. At its heart, the Blue Bucket Bell Campaign isn't just about fundraising—it's about neighbours helping neighbours and ensuring kindness is never in short supply.

Proud to Give Back—Supporting Community Spirit All Year Round
Freddy Marks, Linda Marks, and their family are proud sponsors of many beloved community events throughout Harrison Hot Springs and Agassiz. Whether it's the joy of pumpkin carving, the energy of the Canada Day Parade & festivities, the tradition of the Fall Fair, or the inspiration of the Terry Fox Run, the Marks family is committed to celebrating what makes this community so special. Their ongoing support helps bring these local events to life, creating memories, bringing people together, and ensuring families of all ages can enjoy fun, meaningful experiences right here at home. For the Marks family, giving back isn't just a gesture—it's a way of life rooted in gratitude, community pride, and a deep love for the place they call home.

Helping Heal Little Hearts—Proud Supporters of the Children's Miracle Network
Freddy and Linda Marks are long-time supporters of the Children's Miracle Network, a cause close to their hearts. Through their real estate work with RE/MAX, a portion of their commission is donated to help fund life-saving care, medical research, and essential equipment for children's hospitals across Canada. Their commitment ensures that children facing serious health challenges receive the best care regardless of where they live or their family's ability to pay. For Freddy and Linda, giving back through the Children's Miracle Network is more than a professional pledge—it's a personal mission to help bring hope, healing, and strength to families when they need it most.
