This particular property, although a nature lovers’ paradise, was a tough sell. Situated some 25-30 km outside of 100 Mile House in British Columbia on Ruth Lake, the asking price was near the high end of the market for waterfront properties, especially in an undeveloped state, and although the access road was a "no exit" road meaning there was no thru traffic, the road was gravel for 10 kms. We had previously listed the property with two other local real estate agents for over a year but had not received any offers. However, with Mr. Freddy Marks, we had an offer within 3 months of giving him the listing and eventually sold the property for a very acceptable term, and in a very acceptable process. Freddy worked diligently on our behalf, to a much high degree than all previous agents. To my surprise one morning as I sat in my office having my morning coffee, as I read the Globe & Mail, there was a photo advertisement of our property. Not just a printed text description, but an actual photo of the property! It is our opinion that Freddy showed the effort to sell our property that other agents did not, with the result that he found a buyer for us, and he also did this in a very difficult real estate market.
